Custom Apify actors

A custom Apify actor for one website, delivered in 1 to 3 days.

You name the site and the fields. You get a working actor in your own Apify account, its source code, an input form, a README and a CSV and JSON sample from a real run. Fixed prices from $150. Many sites are already covered by one of our public Apify actors, so check yours below first: a covered site is usually a configured run or a light fork, not a build from scratch.

    What happens after you email

    1. The source and its terms are checked, and you hear which existing actor (if any) is the starting point.
    2. You get a fixed quote with the package, the fields and the delivery day. Nothing is paid before that.
    3. The actor is built or configured, run once on your input, and the sample rows are sent to you.
    4. After you accept the sample, the actor is transferred to your Apify account with its README.

    Questions

    Who pays for Apify usage?

You do, on your own Apify account, at Apify's rates. The sample run shows what one run costs before you schedule anything.

    Do I own the actor?

Yes. It is delivered into your Apify account with its source code, input schema and README. If you tick the Store option, a generic version without your inputs, data or branding is also published on our Apify Store page, and the build costs $50 less.

Which sites are out of scope?

Pages behind a login you are not authorized to use, personal data you have no legal basis to collect, and sites whose terms forbid automated collection for your use case. The source and its terms are checked before you pay. Paid proxies or CAPTCHA services, when a site needs them, run on your account and are named in the quote.

What happens when the site changes its layout?

Production builds include 30 days of a daily check run that emails you when a run returns zero rows or a required field comes back empty, and the fix is included in that window. Apify's own daily test of public actors only checks that a run succeeds with some rows, so a run that quietly loses a field can pass it. After 30 days, fixes are quoted per change, or you can move to a managed feed.

How is this different from the managed feeds?

A managed feed is a monthly service where the data is delivered to you. This is a one-time build: you own the actor and run it yourself.
