SocialBlade data in Claude and other MCP clients
Questions and answers about the SocialBlade creator-stats MCP server, from what it actually returns.
Is there a SocialBlade MCP server?
Yes. SocialBlade Creator Stats and Social Data MCP is listed on MCPize at https://mcpize.com/mcp/socialblade-creator-stats. Its main tool, get_creator_stats, takes SocialBlade-covered creator profile links and returns the statistics SocialBlade shows publicly. It works in Claude, Cursor, Windsurf and any other client that speaks MCP over HTTP. It is an independent server and is not made or endorsed by Social Blade.
What does get_creator_stats return?
For each creator: subscribers or followers, total views, video count, likes where the platform has them, the SocialBlade grade and ranks, country and category, a daily history of about 15 days, the audience and view gains over 7, 30 and 90 days, and the dates of unusual daily jumps. Fields differ by platform: Twitch history can hold followers only, and some Instagram profiles show engagement figures but no daily history. Missing fields come back empty, not invented.
Which platforms does it cover?
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Twitch. Accepted links are youtube.com/@handle, youtube.com/channel/ID, tiktok.com/@user, instagram.com/user, twitch.tv/user, or any socialblade.com profile link.
How do I get subscriber history into Claude?
Connect the server from its MCPize page, then ask Claude to call get_creator_stats with the creator links, for example: 'Get SocialBlade stats for https://www.youtube.com/@mkbhd and show the last 15 days of subscribers.' The history array has one record per day, so Claude can chart it or compare creators.
How long is the history?
SocialBlade shows logged-out visitors about 15 days of daily numbers, so that is what a single call returns. The 7-day gain is normally filled; the 30- and 90-day gains are usually empty because the 15 days do not reach that far. For longer history, the same data source is available as an Apify Actor (benthepythondev/socialblade-scraper) with a 'Keep history across runs' option: scheduled weekly, it accumulates months of history and the 30- and 90-day gains fill in.
What are jump dates?
Days on which the daily audience or view gain was more than three times the median positive daily gain. They need at least seven days of gains to be calculated, and the list is empty when nothing stands out.
What are the limits?
At most 10 profiles per call and 50 records per target. Only what SocialBlade shows a logged-out visitor is returned; nothing behind a Social Blade login or paid plan. A call takes roughly 4 to 40 seconds. Rounded counts reported by a platform can repeat for a day or more.
What can it not do?
It does not return audience demographics, authenticity scores, or private analytics, and it does not search for creators by topic: you supply the profile links. It does not run scheduled watches on its own.
Do I need a SocialBlade account or API key?
No. The server needs no SocialBlade account, login or cookies. You connect through MCPize, which handles access to the server.
When is the official Social Blade Business API the better choice?
Social Blade runs its own Business API (https://socialblade.com/business-api), sold as prepaid credits with one credit per lookup. Choose it if you need first-party data under Social Blade's own terms, a contractual data source for a commercial product, or longer history than the public page shows. This MCP server fits quick lookups and research inside an AI assistant, where you want public profile numbers without setting up an API integration.
How do I connect it?
Open https://mcpize.com/mcp/socialblade-creator-stats, follow the connect instructions for your client, and add the MCP server URL MCPize gives you to Claude, Cursor or Windsurf. The server runs stateless streamable HTTP, so it works with clients that start each request without a session.
